1. We’ve been established as a design and marketing agency for over 30 years.
  2. The agency was set up in 1984, originally above a fruit market, just a short walk away from Southampton’s Oxford Street. All projects were created using drawing boards and visuals were sent off to clients in the post. It’s safe to say things have moved on a little bit since then!
  3. Deceptively large, the chapel and adjoining mid-18th century house is even bigger than it looks from the front, we’re lucky enough to be surrounded by grade II listed architecture and a view of the waterfront. The account management team don’t get too much of a view out to the front however, as the window on the mezzanine level, where the account management suite is, still features the original chapel’s stained glass!
  4. If you’re treated to a tour of the building you’re unlikely to be taken down to the basement – aside from it definitely being haunted (ok, maybe), there’s a 10m deep well and a tunnel that in centuries gone by used to link the chapel to a nearby church… No use for a quick escape though, it collapsed in WW2 and is now blocked.
  5. Two of our studio team have recently celebrated 20 years with the company – it’s not just our clients that are long-standing. We celebrated with cake – of course.
  6. We’re a 10 minute walk from shops, restaurants and the train station and Southampton Airport is just a 20 minute drive away.
  7. When the ‘Ultra-large’, 400m long, container ship MOL Triumph docked in Southampton, we watched it from our roof
  8. We’ve got two marathon runners in our ranks and hopefully more to come.
  9. Every year we get a great view of the Southampton Boat Show – as it’s site is just across the road in Mayflower Park.
  10. We love a Christmas party and the traditional ES company Christmas quiz is an absolute must – get in touch for anecdotes a-plenty.
